#516702 xbgt 4 door starting bid $16000. worth a look!

You're an idiot..

you seem to take things to heart from what i've seen in your dealings with other members in some certain threads.. It also seems as though you think the world is against you... and yes, you can tell this by just reading your random, pointless posts.

if you want an example of a worthless post, look at your first reply in this thread, useless, no point, and just a waste of bandwidth really.

attitudes like yours are not welcome around here... change it, or piss off...

welcome aboard Mohamed..

I think its best you do a search and look through the forums as there is tons of info on this board... you'll find out anything you want to know about XD/E's... just be prepared to be sitting down for a very long time (reading) :)

#340062 'The Marketplace' changes

Posted by robbie on 11 September 2009 - 12:29 PM

One thing that I forgot to say is thanks for the support to all you guys here that have made a clear voice supporting our decision.

just as an FYI to you all - before we made the change, we knew it would cause an uproar and after many hours of debating, this was the final decision that was made.. a lot of people have touched on the issues we dealt with on a daily basis with the marketplace and the decision was made to combat all problems that we encountered.

we knew that not all members would agree with this change, however you guys need to understand that the marketplace is not an integral part of this forum; it's there as a benefit to the members... some forums don’t even have a marketplace due to the massive amount of work needed to manage them properly.

please understand our point of view on this and lets move forward. there really is no point arguing about it as we will not reverse our decision.

#212307 AU turbo engine or XF turbo engine ?

Posted by robbie on 05 December 2008 - 04:05 PM

if you're engineering an AU engine in the old xfalcon, you're going to need to go through a drive-cycle test... test is $2k in VIC (give or take), and if you fail it, its $2k again!

if you havent already got one, speak to enkleman (sp) engineers in breaside, they are fairly good..

it amazes me that some people bring their personal lives onto the forums and discuss it all at will...

dont take this the wrong way, but can I ask why you even need to ask the public something like this? this should be something you need to figure out yourself...

why does the dad hate you, what have you done to him?

#163253 Identifying the 86DA block

Posted by robbie on 30 July 2008 - 06:21 PM

To identify the 86DA block, do I just look where the engine number is (ie by the oil pressure takeoff on the LHS) and it has "86DA ......" stamped there?

g'day, its not an engine number, its a block casting number.

it is right where you think it is (next to the oil pressure sender) and starts with 86DA followed by a whole lot of other numbers after that...
