im switching from carb 250 84 xe to a 302 clev with no vac adv and elec dizzy can some one tell me if my wireing is right please as i am using a newer coil.

in the harness theres a thicker green/red paired & pink /blue wires together. Theres also a thinner green/red. also my dizzy has 3 wires ( drk green/red stripe, light green & pink).

So from the car harness i thought.
pink/blue to neg on coil
the heavier green/red to pos on coil
the thinner green/red to to the green red on the dizzy

And,,, light green on dizzy to pos on coil
pink on dizzy to neg on coil.

????? theres also a short peice of wire twisted to the positive on the coil ???
I was thinking it may go to the alternator where the choke wire goes as its on straight gas.

will pst some pics up sone

thanks for the diagram .
it doesnt show where the spac tacho wire goes .Had a better look it think it is the pink and light blue to the negative coil.
while we are head under the dash what is the best option to wire in a kill switch . earthing the coil was the old way. ?

I'm not sure why you have 3 wires coming out of your dizzy Fitz. You should only need 2 if your using the firing module in that dizzy.(pos. and negitive to coil) Even if you're not using that modlue and you have a aftermarket ignition, you should still only have 2 coming from the dizzy.(magnetic pickup wires)
