Friday week ago I Cleaned and Connected the battery cables, then went shopping for some supplies

Stainless steel battery clamp bolts, WD 40, CRC CO Contact Cleaner, Carby Cleaner and the
Best bargain of the day - 20 litres of Transmission fluid for $40
but I only had $35 on me at the time ;) ...
so the guy at the trans shop took that!
(i think it became his Slab money :P)

Then today I went out all enthusiastic to get her running and started off cleaning
all the electrical connections with CRC CO Contact cleaner.
Then I checked all my hose clamps and filled her with Coolant
& Topped up the Power Steering Fluid.

I even made the Fluid level areas a little easier for the missus to find

last thing to do before reconnecting the plug leads and setting the timing
was the Trans Cooler lines... and the Trans fluid

So the Kero, WD40 and Carby Cleaner came out first to clean up the lines
externally and internally
then I fed them through and connected them and the Trans end

The kids are being christened in October and my wife wants to fly her Aunt in from the USA

We're paying for the ticket and she will pay off one of my wifes debts over there...

plus its time for a change in careers for me...

I was just too busy to get it done by the end of July.... now obviously being the end of August

I'd rather just let it sit and finish it off at a less frantic pace , plus respray the exterior over summer and register it in late Jan or sometime Feb...
