I currently have a ZH Fairlane with Borg Warner diff and converting to 9 inch. I think the 9" was out of an XB GT Falcon.

Are there many differences in the tailshaft/pinion yoke/u-joint between models? The Borg Warner and tail shaft use internal clip u joints while the 9" does not. If I remove the c clips there is too much movement in the yoke.

Do I just need a different u-joint or different yoke or both?

This is the yoke I have if it helps. Center of the saddle holes are 40mm wide and 75mm apart.

Thanks.

You'll need a new uni , looks like a 1310 series .

RUJ-2029 seems to be the correct uni, any tail shaft length difference between axles/transmission variants? It's time to start putting the diff together finally.
