You could purchase a Crane Cams Rocker Arm Guideplate Conversion kit that would allow you to use adjustable roller rockers without machine work or removing the head.  Here is a link: https://www.summitra...AyABEgI1nvD_BwE

Hope this helps

Cheers Rocklord engine is already apart, does that kit just allow you to bolt on roller rockers? I'm sick of bending push rods and not something I want to happen on a engine that I've spent a few dollars on

Yes kit is for fitting 7/16" Cleveland posilock style roller rockers

Crane also have a kit with Roller Rockers, studs, guide plates, ect  is Crane Cams 52745-12 they are 1.7:1

I found some of the guides around the center of the head didn't line up with the push rods.

have heard of someone getting the Cleveland kit & mixing them around to get them to work

I ended up going with Yella Terra "street terra" bolt on ST2034 1.72:1 these bolted straight on nicely, & don't require guide plates. Starting engine tomorrow

As for Pushrods I'd buy some 5/16" 0.080" wall Chrome moly ones
