There's a lot of little cosmetic issues, e.g. the front bumper bracket needs adjustment, the door seals need replacing, etc.

I plan to slowly fix these problems, and drive it around as a daily drive,

I would also like to eventually get some new rims for it

Yeah, the rims are certainly a piece of history eh!!?

With the kit already on it, there are plenty of nice simple rims that would look the goods.

Couple of inches lower wouldnt hurt either!

Nice car mate. Foose it up!

Oh, I hear ya brother....

I've actually been a Torana man more than a Falcon man over the years, and worse still a hatch man!

I've bought, and then had to sell, so many torana hatchbacks over the years, and with each one, knew that the next would be so much harder to buy.

With a totally rusted out shell, with no interior and grass growing through the floor boards going for $15-20K.... I had to look elsewhere.

That's how I settled on the XE Spac. Picked it up in Launceston, took it back over the strait, and drove it to Sydney. Great car.

But, that took me nearly 3 years to save for, and as I said, wont be changing at all. Actually, I have put a grey Spac interior in it as I scored one for a good price.

It will likely go back to tan though.

The grey interior is destined for a white XF, which will have the front end changed to an XE. That will get a barra.

As you say though, all costs money and living in Sydney, is so bloody expensive, will take a minor miracle to get me to that next step.

All the best with it John. If I see any bargain bits on ebay or gumtree, I'll point them out to you!

I have sourced a 2.77 lsd, thanks to demmo.
The old diff with drum brakes has been removed, and the new lsd has been installed.

I'll upload some photos later

Cheers

John

You Can't park that Holden in MY Driveway.......................This is Ford Country.

I had my Ute raised when everybody was lowering theirs so I could drive over shit.

A Country Ute need to actually be able to get over a speed hump... or it's no good for the farm.
