If you do get some photos please, i saw one about 10 years ago, at a slacks creek car yard. The turbo had just been rebuilt on it and it had the books for the car as well, it was a red one..

G'day

This is a good thread, great idea cav.

My question, having just bought a 25th annaversiry car, the paint needs another go. What are the colours. I know the silver is ford silver grey, but what is the colour of the lower section of the car?

Cheers
If its too low your too tall!

Theres a Cartier edition LTD for sale in the latest JUST CARS im pretty sure....think they only want $1500 for it or something.

I think this sort of **** is more for full tech Asian cars whose Engine Managements can launch nuclear weapons and such

Does anyone remember an xg/xh ute that was at the Bris Motor Show , maybe 10 years ago. It was on the FORD stand on a rotating platform, painted blue with a custom rear tray, Round frenched tail lights ( off XR2 Capri!), custom cut-away front guards and looked WAY COOL! I never took photos, but always wished i had.

If I remember correctly, didn't the Cartier LTD have the Cartier symbol or something etched into the rear quarter windows.......?
Cheers,

It sounds to be a DJR Grand Prix, normally Turbo but have seen some produced without.
From BIGCAV's list -
AFTERMARKET XE:
dick johnson special's :hy: this one
xe falcon coupe's
ait turbo's
phase 6 gtho

There are not that many around, buy it before someone else does!!!
Too bad there is no photo because as it states 'average cond' it would be good to see what sort of work needs to be done to get it to its former glory? Definitely a rare sought after car, a bit like the Phase 5:wink_2:........

There were XD John Goss Specials. These were not factory cars but dealer specials, offered by a Sydney firm, Trad Trim and Sunroofs. They featured revised suspension, and fibreglass wheel arch extensions, bonnet bulge and rear wing, plus JGS striping and badging.
