Once i've done the drivers side it'll be time for the trusty old xflow to be extracted & i'll be painting the engine bay to get it ready for its new heart

so the plan here is to turbo this barra engine after a bit of a freshen up & few little changes to the head like upgraded exhaust valves & some springs & maybe even some turbo pistons to lower the compression a bit in it to help it to not self destruct. Not planning on any land speed records at this stage, i'll be absolutely stoked if i get 300rwk out of it? Plenty of guys pumping out more than that from n/a>turbo setup with the right mods first.

So will be using either the stock Ba GT3582 Garret turbo or i may even use the smaller FG turbo GT3576 for quicker spool up. i'll see whats going when the time comes i guess?

Going good thanks John , body's all painted
up apart from engine bay, so getting ready for
the xflow to come out for the Barra trial fitting
before I paint the bay.
Stand alone wiring is done & ecu is flashed &
ready . I've got some go fast bits on order from
Spoolinboost just waiting on the forward plenum
to be made, should have it all in a couple of weeks
time if I'm lucky?
I'm itching to get this motor in & running now!!!

Been busy on the engine bay , got her nice & smooth first so no more rippled shock towers or visable spot welds 😇
