G'day,
Hoping someone can help, I recently bought a 1975 XB, Its in great condition for its age with only a few issues.
One of the things I need help with is the fresh air wont shut off completely. The cable works, and moves the lever on the box and I think I can hear the flat moving and shutting ?. Not so bad in summer but frosty mornings its a bit ordinary.
Before I go ripping it apart is there anything else I can check first, I've not done this before I'd hate to gut it and find I didnt need to.
Is non air-conditioned
Any suggestions or pictures of what I'm looking for would be great.
Thanks

XA/B/C standard heater boxes are very simple. They do have a habit of filling up with leaves and stuff. Best take it out, clean it and check the heater core. They are repairable at your local radiator place.
If the flaps inside arent shutting, then either full of junk or the rubber portions have perished.
