That is exactly what i wanna do ^^^^^^^^^, thats the shape and style of it but with the single leg to use a mag, I was thinking about a trailer hub and stub but I couldnt work out how to drive it so i thought of using the diff end with a second bearing to support the axle about 8" along and have a further 2" of axle sticking out to mount the drive cog. I will look into it more and try and lighten my idea as it will weigh a tonne finished. Is that 2x 15" bike rims locked side by side to make a 8" wide rim?

Thats a 14 x 10 with a 265-50 TA on it.The rim came off a Bedford!!!Same as old Holden rims I'm told???Not that hard to do when you think about it,plus I have the other rim and TA here still for another one.

looks great as always man.

not long and you can do me one hehe.

i reckon a big wheel one would do, with a used et street on the rear lol.
Drag racers go straight to the finish the rest of those guys just drive around in circles looking for it.

So you just by a spoke kit for a 14" wheel and rill the holes out yourself? do u oxy the centre out and clean it up or are they a 2 piece and unbolt the centre?

No any old spokes will do as long as you get em all the same length.I spoked that rim at 5 over from memory. The rim was a widened old steel holden rim,It was welded in place so I used a Plasma to cut the HQ style center out then cleaned it up with my good mate Metabo!
You could use a Oxy for even better results I reckon as long as you take the tyre off first. Then wait till it comes time to fitting the tyre...ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. Fun and games then bud cos they don't fit on any machine with spokes in em so you have to fit it by hand and it has to use a tube cos of all the spoke holes!

Drilling ALL the holes to suit was fun I tell ya,but there was beer in the fridge so I was rather patient anyway.Jobs getting bigger isn't it!,but if you can be a real stubborn pr*ck yop can make anything happen.:hy:
