Went on a Hills run with the import guys tonight. Was really good. Nice free flowing roads and mostly 100km/h zones around Macclesfield, Meadows and Clarendon. Hooning was kept to a minimum...which was good and best of all there was only one commodore on the whole cruise (We were one of 3 Falcons on the cruise....2 AU XR8 utes and a BF XR6T sedan).
Will definately be attending more of them

Sounds like an awesome cruise booma... i might have to tag along sometime and +1 to the falcon group. What were the "import" guys driving? anything decent? lol

The cruise was actually put on by nissansilvia.com, friend of a friend is a mod there so I got the meet point and everything through this mate. There were a lot of nice cars there, majority skylines and silvias, with a mix of other Jap cars....180's and such
I have respect for their cars, god knows I wouldn't try racing any of them

really - i dont mind them a few ******s there obviously - but the last one i went on i am in the paper and so is my car hehe - gonna try get the photos hhehe...
this one should be better than last - and theer were only 5 cars doing B-outs not 100 cars lol like the paper said

I know that, and I also know that the paper blows things way out of proportion (I had a few mates at the meet point aswell)....still, the result for all car clubs is the same....
On another not altogether unrelated topic, I was cruising in town after the hills cruise on saturday night and couldn't believe the level of police presence targeting cars in and around hindley street. There was a defect station just after the maccas going in from the West Terrace end and then another one on King William St, when you turned right out of the other end of Hindley.
I went through each of them about 5 or six times and didn't get pulled in, but each time I went past there was a different commodore sitting in them LoL
