random wiring loom...

hey guys in my FE LTD i took the centre console out to have a look at the electric seat switches in an attempt to figure out why some functions were not workin, but thats a diff story i came across a random wiring loom under the centre console and it has plugs with home-made loops plugged into them (green arrow) and also a bunch of small wires encased in black (red arrow) that connect to the back of a large black plug (yellow arrow) that run to a keypad next to the gear lever (second pic) also some in-line fuses with one in tact and two missing (blue arrow) are included in the package, lol. anyone tell what it is or what its for? cheers. and the keypad does not seem to do anything or work either

maybe a mobile phone handsfree kit or cb radio loom?

yeah it sure could be but im thinkin now its some sort of security wiring, the keypad used to have a code sortof like an immoboliser i think (old lady sold me car was not sure heself) and after reading wat u sed syko followwed the loom but it just intergrates into the rest of the wiring i can see anyways... i can just leave it of course but im the kinda person who just wants to know hehe
