depends on a number of things? does it have the original interior, what kind of condition is the body in? color? what your willing to spend, or wait til a matching one comes up for sale.

the whole car is good condition everything is original except the engine the color is silver with the black strip at the bottom, is has been looked after as i have known the owner has had it for atleast the last ten years.

providing it is original and immaculate every where else, I'd say between 6 - 8K, is it just a roller? Or does it have another engine and transmission in it?

Yeah what a shame. If its only a 6 its not worth 'thousands of $$$' also now you have the opatunity to throw a healthy v8 in it.

mate it would depend on how honest you are as well i know there are those out there that would try to exploit the situation and try and get it for as little as they can so it,s worth what you would feel comfortable in paying for it if it is in as good condition as you say i would suspect anywhere between 4 and 6 grand

I know of a couple that have sold similar condition with no engine for 4k mark one was plated as v8 which would make it worth more than a 6 cyl car

if its complete and running/driving car, with motor (Even not matching numbers) with a good interior (No major rips or tears and only 20 odd years of wear marks) and body (Including mouldings, rust, badges & Wheels) are all there i would say 6k -8k.

Its still an ESP and if its that good and only need minor work for rego that would be a fair price. (6K - 8k)

If it need rebuilding and rust work etc then (3k - 5k)

Thats my guess without seeing it. but go with your gut, as said you don't want family friend having a bitter after taste from feeling ripped off as well you don't want the feeling of you getting ripped off.
